Penny - by Christine Dobbin - Watercolour
I've been a creative person as long as I can remember and began to focus on watercolour as a medium while studying Illustration for Children's Book Publishing at university. After graduating I was craving a change so started working in a vets as a trainee veterinary nurse. So for a while art was my hobby and I developed my technique over the years using the various animals I met as inspiration.
In 2017 I took the plunge and left my job to focus on painting and now take commissions as well as painting wildlife and have various pieces available to buy. Mostly my commissions come via my "Christine Dobbin Art" Facebook page, but I also have a website too.
My studio is a quirky caravan situated in my garden where I'm surrounded by my cats, wildlife and also my two rescue pigs Eileen and Vincent Van Trough.
Below - "Nature's Peace", and "Pip", both watercolour.
