Maggie Goodsell

 Maggie Goodsell

Maggie is the Society's Chairman, Publicity Secretary & organiser of challenges & exhibitions.

She is a mostly retired grower & part time artist who has painted and drawn for most of her life.
Maggie says - "I come from a very practical family - old school friends tell me that they used to love coming to our house as there was always something happening.
I work in a very cluttered studio which I keep meaning to tidy or I work on the sofa. If not painting or drawing I try to have knitting, crochet or embroidery on the go.
I have always been drawn to painting flowers and buildings but keep trying to push myself with other subjects, styles and mediums."

A member of the society since the mid 1990's, Maggie now has time to exhibit in all our exhibitions. She also sells her art on her websitewww.owlsacrestudio.comand on Etsy & Folksy as OwlsAcreStudio.
Maggie rarely takes commissions - she says she is far too busy.
